Hi Ella,

We all had a wonderful time at Matangi. The snorkelling was great, and the staff would take us to different spots every day. Two trips a day on offer.

There was great coral and reef fish but not large marine animals, I think because there at Matangi it sits in a reef system which protects the island but not a lot of larger marine animals enter. Lauren did see a small reef shark and the there is a spot to see rays but none about when we went.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. It was quiet and mostly American couples there. At the end only 10 visitors on the island and 60 staff.

Food was good, alcohol expensive but that was expected.

The horseshoe bay picnic was lovely – even more secluded and beautiful. The excursion to do 2 waterfall hike was also great, and we swam in waterfalls.

Pearl farm visit also fun and recommended. Didn’t buy any but they had not harvested since COVID began and I figured they would usually have more stock.

We walked every day, there is a coastal walk and there is a rainforest ridge walk which we did twice. There were other activities on offer which we didn’t do – Tour of Taveuni, Village cultural tour, boat trip around Matangi.

We met the family who own the resort and live there and they were very friendly.

Lauren had a wonderful birthday and they made a cake. The girls really enjoyed it too.

There were pigs, cows, goats and sheep on the island, for interest at the end of the coastal walk beyond the resort.

The candlelight dinner was also great – Les and I had a great seafood platter.

Next time I would recommend beach front or tree bure – ours were very nice and just metres from the ocean but the other side of the resort is quieter – less staff movement and generator noise.

We would love to go again . Let me know if they have any special offers.

The owners told us of a few people who came, liked it so much they purchased properties on the adjacent islands.

I am hoping we will return to Fiji or go to Vanuatu in not too distant future.

It’s been crazy getting back from such an amazing holiday and I only found time now to sit and write back to you.

As always, everything was perfectly planned and we can’t thank you enough for your services. From the transfers, to the rooms, meeting all our requests and organising our amazing dinner in the cabana! It was so magical, the food delicious and relaxing too.

Nicola LOVED Fiji so much and the Fijian people fell in love with her (and my nephews). They are so genuine and it was great to see how much fun the kids had. We were so lucky to have the connecting rooms, which meant the adults shared the love and looked after the kids so we could each go and enjoy the adults pool and have massages too! We didn’t end up using the nanny services because we had each other. Which was convenient.

The resort is so beautiful. Rooms lovely and the location is so picturesque. It was a nice change from Denarau.

The flight to and from was great too. Nicola was really good and slept going there and coming back from Fiji.

Ella, you are just amazing! Not only do you specialise in creating amazing adult holidays, but you did a great job in planning our family getaway. So thank you very much! I’ve attached some photos from the holiday and looking forward to planning our next family getaway!

Sorry I accidentally pressed send without typing anything!! We had the most amazing time and we said we will go back for sure!! I am so glad we chose to go there it was the most perfect setting! And the staff were beyond friendly, we really did feel we were home!

Sorry for not getting back to you earlier we have been a bit busy as we are now almost 3 months PREGNANT!! I know how crazy!! We don’t waste time in the Elmadi household!!

Our honeymoon was amazing! We had such a great time! From the time we got off the plane to the time we had to leave everything was perfect! We didn’t have to worry about organizing anything thanks to you! You made it so easy for us to relax! Lomani resort is absolutely amazing, the staff are so friendly and helpful, the resort is beautiful, the activities are fun and it is so easy to relax. We are defiantly planning on going back one day.

We had an amazing time, will give you a run down on hightlights & each resort soon…… Malolo was so fantastic, we will not need to stay on the mainland ever again!

Warwick
• Room was great, separate bedroom for frank and I
• Food was below average, quite disappointing, no drinks service and food service around pool only adjacent in a restaurant
• Saw small cockroaches at the buffet dinner first night, bit yucky
• Entertainment at night great for families
• We spent most of the day at beach area, frank loved the paddle-boarding
• Using the canoes a lot too

Malolo Island
• Amazing, we LOVED it!
• Food and cocktails excellent, no faulting it
• Water sports fantastic Great tours – went to cloud break and snorkelling on reef Snorkelling at Malolo Sand Bar
• Kids club at night so we had 2 great dinners at adults restaurant (over 13years) Little half-house was cute but we could have gone with smaller one as we were never in it except when we went to bed
• Only thing is on last night the other side of the house was occupied and we heard them partying on, frank had to knock on the wall!
• Had a pedicure, pedicure part below average, but the massage and product part was good!
• Water taxi – perfect way to travel

Kids favourites all at Malolo
• Banana boat ride
• Dolphin safari – Did not see though! but that seemed to be OK as we then went to see Cloud break and snorkeling.

Next time we will only go to one place and only an island, so much better than the mainland losing a day travel in between was a pain

Would definitely go back to Malolo but for about 7-8 nights It was warmer at Malolo and the beach and surrounding water is divine.

We loved everything about the Outrigger! The staff really go above and beyond to make everything perfect! They looked after not only Ben and I but our guests for their entire stay! It was just incredible!

We had a great time in Fiji! Malolo was a perfect island and resort missing it like crazy now that we are back.

We were a bit worried on day 1 as there seemed to be a lot of kids around but it was mainly due to a wedding that was taking place at the resort.

Had some great day trip experiences went snorkeling at the Wall (Mel freaked out cause of the deep water and drop off ‘the wall’) and we went to the local village and local school. The school amazed us and in our opinion every Aussie school kid should go there for a term and experience their discipline!!

Only negative and we’re being very very fussy now was probably the food at the resort could have been a bit better. It was a bit hit and miss but again that is us being very fussy…

Thanks again for organizing the trip for us we had a great time and would definitely recommend Malolo to anyone wanting to go to Fiji and hope to go back in the coming years..

I started to email you the other day but forgot to finish it. Our wedding was great, we were very lucky the rain held out till the last photo was taken. Our Honeymoon was amazing loved it. We weren’t to keen on that little plane haha… It was a little stormy on our way over so it was a bit scary. The staff were fantastic, so helpful.. I cut my foot on a rock on our way to dinner at the ‘Lovers Deck’ and they could not have been more helpful, the manager even gave us a free couples massage.

Nick also was sick on our last day and the staff went above and beyond to make sure he was feeling a little better for the flight home.

The Food was Delicious, we would of like more special dinner as we missed out on the one where I cut my foot and they accidentally book one for the day we left but the ones did have where great. We made it to the waterfall it was beautiful, we also had breakfast at the blow Hole deck it was really nice.

The cultural shows that Namale held where very good, and we enjoyed the Kava ceremony’s but not the Kava.

There is a lot more to say but I won’t bore you… in a nut shell Namale was the best place we have ever stay
