We had an amazing time in Bora Bora and although there were a few afternoon showers it was mostly perfect swimming weather and absolutely beautiful! Yes we did do a few excursions, we did an island our on jetskis booked through the le meridien which was really fun! We also went on a snorkelling tour with Reef Discovery, the tour isnt available through the le meridian but you can get them to book and then pay the guide on the day and I have to say we both thought it was AMAZING! Best thing we did. The le meridien itself was great, really lovely bungalows and staff, great view and well organised, would definitely recommend it.
The La Villa Mahana was completely booked out until next month but St James and Mai Kai were still pretty good for food. We skipped Bloody Mary’s.
On the downside we did experience a fair bit of waiting around before we were able to check into our rooms, particularly at the Radisson in Tahiti as we got in around 11am but were made to wait until around 3pm without explanation, which was quite annoying as it seemed everyone else around us who arrived at the same time as us were able to be checked in? We also had a long wait at the Le Meridien but they were really lovely about it, sought us out to explain and threw in lunch and a cocktail đŸ™‚
Other than that an awesome honeymoon! Thanks for your assistance in getting us sorted!
