Ella we loved our quick getaway to Hawaii. David and I would definitely go back to Hawaii in particular Maui. We thought Maui was so scenic and instantly relaxing as we were driven through the coastline road to Royal Lahaina Resort and Spa. The Resort was just what we ordered, great room with comfort and luxury and not to mention the sea view from our balcony, friendly staff and good service. Our 4 nights in Maui felt so much longer because we did tourist activities including exploring the island, playing 18 holes of golf on our picturesque resort course, shopping literally till we dropped and STILL relaxed on the beach, sipped cocktails by the pool and chilled.
Waikiki was a contrast. We stayed at the Hilton which did its job but we probably won’t stay there again as the restaurant service was not good. We did enjoy our room and the upgrade we got when hurricane Iselle was rolling our way and our flight got delayed by 2 days. Waikiki day tour including visiting the Arizona memorial was our highlight in Waikiki. Overall a big tick to this trip from your frequent travelers…
Cheers Malka and David
