The Tongsai Bay was the best hotel we have ever stayed in – simply stunning

I have been meaning to email you all week to say thanks but I have been crazy busy back at work! Thank you so much for organising the best honeymoon ever! All the flights and transfers worked out well (apart from the propeller plane from Koh Samui to Bangkok – you didn’t warn me about that, ha ha!). Our tour guide in Bangkok for Asia World Travel was so lovely and it was great to be driven round in style. We went on the floating markets tour plus the temples tour in Bangkok and both were fantastic.

The Tongsai Bay was the best hotel we have ever stayed in – simply stunning. The rooms, the staff, the food and the service were all exemplary and we were treated like royalty – they even delivered little complimentary snacks to our villa during the day. We started off in the pool villa, which was superb, but we were actually lucky enough to get upgraded to one of the deluxe seaview grand villas (room 501!) halfway through our stay. We were in the villa with the L-shaped infinity pool – all the staff said it was the best room in the hotel – and we loved every minute. Although the pool villas are more secluded and the villas themselves were the same inside, the pool in the second villa was stunning and we could sunbathe there, whereas the normal pool villa was in shade because of all the trees. Having said that, both were fantastic and it would have been hard to justify the extra money upfront for the seaview pool villa, but we were so lucky to get upgraded! The private dinner and massages were amazing and not many other honeymooning couples had those included in their packages so we felt extra special.

Thank you again – it was perfect. I didn’t want to leave and it is very depressing being home!
