We LOVED The Danna! Amazing hotel! We spent most of our time there to be honest, just relaxing! The room was so luxurious and huge, despite being the “cheaper” room at the hotel. (Exactly as you said!!)
Shangri La at KL also amazing for a city stay, but I think after The Danna it was hard to top for obvious reasons!
As general feedback (and no reflection on your work, because we chose to go to Langkawi for something different), if you have other clients tossing up where to go, we both thought we would go back to Koh Samui over Langkawi. The Danna was a little isolated if you wanted to eat out etc, and we loved Fishermans village at Bophut. I feel like if you want to stay in an amazing resort in Langkawi, you kind of have to compromise being close to the action. In saying this – we loved The Danna, had an amazing time and quite happily stayed at the resort because the restaurants etc were awesome.
