Le Taha'a is where we send couples who have seen the pictures of Bora Bora and want something quieter and more Polynesian. The overwater suites are all the same size, so the choice is about the view: Bora Bora on the horizon, the sunset, or Taha'a's green hills. The coral garden snorkel is the best we know in the islands and starts at the resort. Dinner at Tipairua is a reason to dress up.
Who it suits
Honeymooners and couples who value privacy, food and nature over resort size, often paired with a few nights on Bora Bora.

How do we get there?
Fly from Papeete to Raiatea, then the resort's private boat takes about 35 minutes. A helicopter from Bora Bora is the direct alternative for a two-island trip.
Which suites see Bora Bora?
The Bora Bora Overwater Suites face the island on the horizon; the Sunset suites face west for the evening light.
Is the coral garden really at the resort?
Yes — the drift snorkel runs through the channel beside the motu and is reached on foot from the resort.
