We just had a ball and would recommend your services to anyone who wants their ultimate honeymoon J

Thanks for the welcome back! We had an amazing time on our honeymoon – it was perfect and just what we wanted!

The flight over was a bit hairy with a lot of turbulence but once we arrived everything was perfect. We loved the Shangri- La. The Executive Club room was just gorgeous and we had an amazing view of the Petronus towers. The club lounge was a delight and the service was impeccable. We spent a day by the pool and went shopping and ate amazing food (The Japanese restaurant in the hotel is first rate!)! I was glad we stopped in KL for 3 days rather than going straight to Langkawi. It gave us time to unwind and get into ‘relax mode’ so when we got to Langkawi we were ready to just enjoy.

The Danna was amazing! The location was actually quite ideal and we really liked being able to go out to the marina for dinner rather than having to eat in the hotel each night. We did go out and do a bit of exploring but most days were spent by the pool at the hotel churning through books and drinking cocktails! Again, the service was incredible with nothing being too much trouble. We hired a car and a driver from the hotel (about $60 AU for 4 hours) and went to some beaches as the beach there didn’t seem great to swim at but it was still really pretty and the hotel pool more than made up for it. Our highlights in Langkawi were

1.  The BBQ dinner they do poolside each Friday night
2. Our day out with the driver – we went to Tangu Rhu beach and a place called Scarborough Fish and Chips on the beach! It was delicious!
3. The incredible breakfasts every morning and happy hour cocktails each night
4. We went for dinner at the Pavilion Restaurant at the Datai Resort – AMAZING! The food was so good and the resort looked incredible. If we went back we might stay there for a couple of nights, but were glad we were staying where we were for 10 days as the Datai is really remote. We had to pay the taxi to wait for us while we had dinner.
5. Our room was really nice and had a sensational view (picture attached)

The Mandarin Oriental was in a great location and the room was nice but the pool etc was under construction while we were there which was a bit disappointing. Again, the level of service was fantastic and they provided us with a picture of our arrival which was a nice keepsake, as well as punch and chocolates each afternoon we were there(picture attached). In terms of location, we preferred it to the Shangri –La as we could just head straight out the door and in Suria KLCC for dinner and shopping (picture attached), but the Shangri-La was really special and we loved both. While we were at the Mandarin we went up the Petronus towers and did dinner at the Sky Bar at the Traders Hotel (picture of the view attached plus picture of us there attached).  The view was amazing but the food was average. If we went again I would go earlier in the evening for a drink then eat somewhere else.

All transfers were great – ready and waiting for us each time. The drivers were all really lovely and polite.

We loved our honeymoon and can’t thank you enough for organising such a special trip for us. We just had a ball and would recommend your services to anyone who wants their ultimate honeymoon J

We have lots of great memories and came back ready to do it all again!
