We had an amazing Arabian dinner in a Bedouin tent in the sand dunes!

I have been meaning to contact you. First day back at work yesterday so still getting settled and fighting off some jetlag!

Our honeymoon was AMAZING!!! Everything was meticulously organised and we have you to thank for it. There was not one hiccup during the entire trip and all the arrangements went to plan.

Abu Dhabi – the Anantara Qasr Al Sarab absolutely blew us away. It was the perfect first stop as we were in the middle of the desert it meant we enjoyed complete relaxation. The service there was excellent – from bringing you cold towels by the pool, constantly supplying complimentary water and dates and even cleaning your sunglasses! When we first arrived they took us on a tour of the hotel to show us the various rooms on offer (to try and link sell an upgrade) in the end we decided that our room was just perfect for us with a spectacular view over the sand dunes and spent the money we saved on spa treatments which were superb! We had an amazing Arabian dinner in a Bedouin tent in the sand dunes and the buffet breakfast was vast with choices. Jumeirah was also amazing in a more modern way and was in a really great location. St Regis had a great pool with swim up bar and had the best honeymoon welcome.

Maldives – It was everything we imagined and more. The crystal clear water was just unbelievable we would snorkel off our bungalow for hours on end. We also had a really good bungalow location (number 168) as it faced Moyo Island and so we didn’t have another bungalow directly across from us. They had a special night for honeymooners while we were there – they engraved a little wooden heart with ‘Mr and Mrs Prior’ and had a ceremony where each couple sticks their heart on a big wall with champagne and chocolate dipped strawberries etc which was a nice touch.  They were also very accommodating with leaving our bags behind and showers etc as we didn’t leave the island till 4:30pm the day of check out.  Matt only went for a couple of surfs while we were there because the waves weren’t so good – but he got a couple in. Only downside for him was that they don’t let you paddle out to the nearby breaks which means you have to pay $$$$ to get on the boat to take you to the edge of the atoll but it is what it is! Bungalows were a little tired but can’t complain when you have crystal clear water off your back verandah. Finally, it was great to be at a resort that had a sister resort nearby. It gave us more options for food, overwater spa and they also had a larger infinity pool on Dhigu (if you don’t mind a few kiddies splashing about).

All we can say is thank you once again for all your helping in arranging such a spectacular honeymoon. You were completely on point with all your suggestions and we are so thankful that you took the stress of planning the honeymoon off our plates whilst we were planning the wedding. You did an amazing job and I won’t hesitate to recommend you to our friends / family in the future.

Finally, our wedding day was an absolute blast with hail and all! Below is a snapshot of how it all played out.

Take care and speak soon!
