Thankyou so very much for organizing such an amazing holiday for all eight of us

We are home and having holiday withdrawals! It was truly perfect.

When we arrived in Singapore at the Mandarin Oriental the staff were so friendly and remembered us by our names, they went out of their way to make us comfortable. Aliyah had a wooden baby cot and we were given a cute baby bath kit also.

We discovered Singapore at the night safari, we got rained on in the middle of a thunderstorm but it was fun. The next day we spent at Universal studios and we took Aliyah on the Madagascar ride which she loved. We watched the parade in the afternoon and every character came up to Aliyah, I think it was her chubbiness and blue eyes, so we got so many photos even a hug from Elmo. Then a cable car ride across from Sentosa to Singapore, one way, its a must do!

The next night we went to Gardens by the bay, $5 for the skywalk pass so cheap and so beautiful. At 830pm there was a lasar show with all the flowers and artwork lighting up. We discovered a yummy hawkers market we went to each night to, Makansutra Gluttons, you could literally eat soo much local food for under $10 and walk away feeling stuffed full.
We walked through Orchard road and Bugis lane for shopping, but I wasn’t really in the shopping mood I was more excited about Koh Samui the next day.

Well six senses Koh Samui was amazing! Apparently the Thai royals stay here when they visit Koh Samui. Aliyah was a superstar over there she was wicked away all the time by the staff so we could enjoy our meal. I didn’t want to leave Six senses.

However when we arrived at Sala Samui it was a lot closer to everything but you were still far enough away from Chewang city center. From massages, the food, Fisherman’s wharf on a Friday night, Chewang for shopping to relaxing by the pool it was brilliant. Margaret and Trevor made two stops to Tesco shops, they spent up big. Although I stayed back and relaxed, I wasn’t into the shopping this holiday I just wanted to do nothing.

On the stop over in Singapore we went out to Clark Quay which is beautiful at night. The hotel Fort Canning was great but I do prefer Marina Bay area I think.

Nat and Brett- Do you guys want to add in anything??

Ella thankyou so very much for organizing such an amazing holiday for all eight of us, it went by soo smoothly and we had no issues apart from what to eat for dinner!

Nat and I are already talking about our next annual holiday in 2016- Cook islands this time.
