We have just returned from our honeymoon to Bali, which we booked through Butler By The Sea. We had an awesome time and we’re so happy with the organisation by Ella.
When we first started to look for honeymoon destinations it was totally overwhelming and I had no idea where to start. So I got in touch with a few travel agents via email and explained what we were after. I got lots of replies but Ella’s was the most organised and easy to understand. And it looked the most professional by far. After a few emails and phone chats Ella had planned our honeymoon. We were probably pretty difficult customers for her, always changing our minds and dates etc! Even so, she read us well and picked perfect spots for us to stay, and mixed and matched hotels and dates to make the most of their specials; free nights and peak/off peak times etc.
The hotels were incredible and a real treat for our honeymoon. I told Ella we wanted somewhere fun for half of it then somewhere quiet for the second part. The first resort style hotel on the beach in Seminyak (W Retreat) was really cool, brand new and clean and had great pools and bars and restaurants. Then we moved to Kayumanis Villas in Nusa Dua. This place was something else. The private villas were amazing and you hardly needed to leave! The private pool was so great and we spent hours in there.
Ella also organised all transfers between the airport and our hotels and between the hotels too. These guys also offered tours around Bali too, so we did 2 extra day tours with them. Gitar was a great guide; friendly, knowledgeable and knew all the spots! He was a real Balinese fella, he loved his country and took great pride in showing us around and telling us everything we needed to know. Lots of handy warnings and useful info too.
We were tremendously happy with the service provided by Butler By The Sea and since then we’ve recommended lots of friends to jump on the website to have a look.
