Thank you Scott and Ella for planning and organising our wonderful trip to Thailand.
The entire holiday was hassle free. From the time we landed at Chiang Mai Airport on our arrival in Thailand until we checked in at the airport at Bangkok to return home to Sydney. We were assisted by our guides to enjoy every minute.
The staff at the two hotels were absolutely marvellous we could not have asked for better service. The Thai people were so friendly towards us.
The meals we had were simply delicious.
We had fun visiting the many Markets, Temples, the Elephant Conservation Centre at Lampang to name a few of the many points of interest organised for us. We were thrilled at having a ride on an elephant through the countryside.
When we arrived at our hotel in Bangkok, we were asked if we were on our honeymoon.
We thought what has Scott and Ella been up to when organising our trip. George replied – 48 years ago we were. The person seemed puzzled but accepted the reply and toddled off.
About twenty minutes later there was a knock on our door. George opened the door and to his surprise there was a person holding a lovely heart shaped cake with Happy Anniversary iced on top. Now this cake would serve 8 people and not wanting to waste any we ploughed through it over the next couple of days.
We appreciated the thought, which set the scene for our stay. The staff at the hotel treated us as if we were royalty.
Hardly a day goes by that we don’t think of the wonderful time we had, and the memories we will treasure for ever.
Both of us enjoyed the fantastic experience and will be planning our next overseas trip with Butler By The Sea.
